Minimum Wage Updated in New Mexico, the United States of America from 01 January 2022 - June 24, 2022

Minimum wages have been revised in New Mexico, United States of America with effect from 01 January 2022. The minimum wages are increased as follows:

  • For Albuquerque - Employees receiving health care or child care benefits, from $9.50 to $11.50 per hour;
  • For Albuquerque - Employees not receiving health care or child care benefits, from $10.50 to $11.50 per hour;
  • For Albuquerque - Tipped workers, from $6.30 to $6.90 per hour;
  • For Bernalillo County - does not apply to the City of Albuquerque - Employees receiving health care or child care benefits, from $9.35 to $11.50 per hour;
  • For Bernalillo County - does not apply to the City of Albuquerque - Employees not receiving health care or child care benefits, from $9.20 to $9.45 per hour;
  • For Bernalillo County - does not apply to the City of Albuquerque - Tipped workers, from $2.13 to $2.80 per hour;
  • For Las Cruces - All except tipped workers, from $10.50 to $11.50 per hour; and
  • For Las Cruces - Tipped workers, from $4.20 to $4.60 per hour.
