This project may also be seen as Phase 2 of its predecessor, i.e. Transparency through mobile internet, see. https://wageindicator.org/Wageindicatorfoundation/projects/transparency-through-mobile-internet It set out to enable apparel workers and employers to check, debate, negotiate and publish wages and working conditions online. This project was successfully concluded earlier in 2019 and prompted the funder to call for another 3 three years, including lessons learned during Phase 1 and widening its scope somewhat. (Emphasis on 1.) a new Data Academy in order to have more trained interviewers and trade unionist. Trained in: Understanding data and act on the basis of data. 2.) Stronger social media and communication activities during the project period.) |
