Minimum Wages per Country

The WageIndicator Minimum Wage Database contains the minimum wage rates for 216 countries. Of these countries, 80 have one National Minimum Wage rate covering the entire labour force with an employment status as well as 13 countries with one rate covering parts of the labour force. Another 62 countries have between two and 10 different Minimum Wage rates, while 34 countries specify rates for over 10 different categories of workers. Finally, 19 countries have no Statutory Minimum Wage.

The WageIndicator team updates the Database on monthly basis. For statistical analysis, the Minimum Wage Database is available on a monthly frequency. Where only weekly or monthly wages have been provided, the amounts have been recalculated to hourly wages. We provide Minimum Wage updates through checking relevant websites of Ministries of Labour and Wage Boards worldwide.
