Working hours

  • Employees are entitled to monthly minimum wage if their agreed working time is 40 hours per week.

Definitions

  1. Ancillary, repetitive, preparatory works.
    2. Repetitive works with some degree of decision making ("simple professional work").
    3. Diverse works with higher level of cognitive intensity ("professional work").
    4. Professional works carried out in the frame of complete separate systems with potential breakdown into sub-subsystems and connections to other systems ("specialized professional works").
    5. Complex professional works dealing with a complex systems composed of several other homogeneous units or complex separate units; the coordination and regulation of professional works ("system work").
    6. System works that involve considerable cognitive intensity resulting from the high complexity of cognitive processes and a higher level of abstract thinking, imagination, generalization and necessary decisions according to various criteria ("specialized system work").
    7. Specialized system works that require comprehensive coordination of different sytems and high demands for creative thinking ("creative system work").
    8. Creative system works with unspecified inputs, various solutions and outcomes with possible ties to a whole range of other activities, disciplines and the most demanding systems, very high cognitive intensity resulting from the high demands for creative thinking in a highly abstract level.

Czech Republic has a government-mandated minimum wage. No worker in Czech Republic should be paid less then this minimum pay rate.
Employers in Czech Republic who do not pay the Minimum Wage may be subject to punishment by the government of Czech Republic.
