Definitions
Wages per month are calculated as 4.33 times if a weekly wage is defined. It is calculated as 4.33 times the standard hours per week if an hourly wage is given.
The government sets minimum wages in Tunisia for various sectors, especially non-agricultural ones, and it consults with trade unions in order to determine the minimum wage for the public sector. Tunisian law prohibits violating these controls and regulations.
