Working hours
- In accordance with article 99 of the Labour Code, the usual working hours are 40 hours per week (2400 hours per year for farm workers) and workers are entitled to 2 days of rest per week.
Definitions
Niger has a government-mandated minimum wage. No worker in Niger can be paid less then this mandatory minimum rate of pay.
Employers in Niger who fail to pay the Minimum Wage may be subject to punishment by the government of Niger.
