Detailed Project Information WageMap unites leading living wage data providers to establish a publicly consulted Living Wage Reference Standard. By harmonizing methodologies, engaging diverse stakeholders, and providing transparent guidance, the project empowers organizations, policymakers, and workers to implement consistent, locally specific, and internationally comparable living wages worldwide.
Objective To establish a credible and stakeholder-informed Living Wage Reference Standard that aligns global methodologies, ensures international comparability, and respects local contexts, thereby building confidence in living wage estimates worldwide.
Role of Wageindicator
  • Serving on the Steering Committee to guide overall project strategy and governance
  • Participating in the Technical Committee to align methodologies and ensure data quality and comparability
  • Leading the Community Building Workstream to engage stakeholders, including workers, employers, and civil society, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across the global living wage movement
