Minimum wages have been revised in California, United States of America, with effect from 01 January 2025. The minimum wages have increased as follows:
- For employers with 25 or fewer employees, from $16.00 to $16.50 per hour;
- For employers with 26 or more employees, from $16.00 to $16.50 per hour;
- For Belmont, $17.35 to $18.30 per hour;
- For Cupertino, from $17.75 to $18.20 per hour;
- For El Cerrito, from $17.92 to $18.34 per hour;
- For Los Altos, from $17.75 to $18.20 per hour;
- For Mountain View, from $18.75 to $19.20 per hour;
- For Palo Alto, from $17.80 to $18.20 per hour;
- For Redwood City, from $17.70 to $18.20 per hour;
- For Richmond - Without Benefits, from $17.20 to $17.77 per hour;
- For San Diego, from $16.85 to $17.25 per hour;
- For San Jose, from $17.55 to $17.95 per hour;
- For San Mateo – Generally, from $17.35 to $17.95 per hour;
- For San Mateo - Non–Profit, $17.35 to $17.95 per hour; and
- For Sunnyvale, from $18.55 to $19.00 per hour.
