Minimum Wage Updated in California, United States of America from 01 July 2024 - July 01, 2024

Minimum wages have been revised in California, United States of America with effect from 01 July 2024. The new minimum wages are as follows:

  • For Berkeley, from $18.07 to $18.67  per hour;
  • For Emeryville - all small and large businesses, from $18.67 to $19.36 per hour;
  • Los Angeles - Employers with 25 or fewer employees, from $16.78 to $17.28 per hour;
  • Los Angeles - 26 or more employees, from $16.78 to $17.28 per hour;
  • Los Angeles County - Unincorporated - Employers with 25 or fewer employees, from $16.90 to $17.27 per hour;
  • Los Angeles County - Unincorporated - 26 or more employees, from $16.90 to $17.27 per hour;
  • For Malibu - Employers with 25 or fewer employees, from $16.90 to $17.27 per hour;
  • For Malibu - Employers with 26 or more employees, from $16.90 to $17.27 per hour;
  • For Pasadena - Employers with 25 or fewer employees, from $16.93 to $17.50  per hour; 
  • For Pasadena - Employers with 26 or more employees,  from $16.93 to $17.50  per hour;
  • For San Francisco, from $18.07 to $18.67 per hour;
  • For Santa Monica - Employers with 25 or fewer employees, from $16.90 to $17.27 per hour; and 
  • For Santa Monica - Employers with 26 or more employees, from $16.90 to $17.27 per hour.
