Minimum wages have been revised in California, United States of America, with effect from 01 January 2024. The minimum wages have increased as follows:
- For employers with 25 or fewer employees, from $15.50 to $16.00 per hour;
- For employers with 26 or more employees, from $15.50 to $16.00 per hour;
- For Belmont, $16.75 to $17.35 per hour;
- For Cupertino, from $17.20 to $17.75 per hour;
- For El Cerrito, from $17.35 to $17.92 per hour;
- For Los Altos, from $17.20 to $17.75 per hour;
- For Mountain View, from $18.15 to $18.75 per hour;
- For Oakland - Generally, from $15.97 to $16.50 per hour;
- For Palo Alto, from $17.25 to $17.80 per hour;
- For Redwood City, from $17.00 to $17.70 per hour;
- For Richmond - Without Benefits, from $16.17 to $17.20 per hour;
- For San Diego, from $16.30 to $16.85 per hour;
- For San Jose,from $17.00 to $17.55 per hour;
- For San Mateo – Generally, from $16.75 to $17.35 per hour;
- For San Mateo - Non – Profit, $16.75 to $17.35 per hour;
- For Santa Clara, to $ from $17.20 to $17.75 per hour; and
- For Sunnyvale, from $17.95 to $18.55 per hour.
