Minimum wages have been revised in Botswana with effect from 01 February 2024. The minimum wages are increased for the following categories:
- Construction of buildings, Exploration and Quarrying Industries;
- Wholesale Distributive Trades;
- Hotel, Catering and Entertainment;
- Garage, Motor Trade and Road Transport;
- Manufacturing, Service and Repair Trades;
- Retail Distributive Trades;
- Watchmen Employed in Industries and Trades;
- Security Guards Employed by Security Companies;
- Domestic Service Sector; and
- Agriculture, forestry and fishing.
