Minimum wages have been revised in California, United States of America, with effect from 01 January 2023. The minimum wages have increased as follows:
- For employers with 25 or fewer employees, from $14.00 to $15.50 per hour;
- For employers with 26 or more employees, from $15.00 to $15.50 per hour;
- For Belmont, the minimum wage is $16.75 per hour;
- For El Cerrito, the minimum wage is $17.35 per hour;
- For Los Altos, the minimum wage is $17.20 per hour;
- For Mountain View, the minimum wage is $18.15 per hour;
- For Oakland – Generally, the minimum wage is $15.97 per hour;
- For Palo Alto, the minimum wage is $17.25 per hour;
- For Redwood City, the minimum wage is $17.00 per hour;
- For Richmond - Without Benefits, the minimum wage is $16.17 per hour;
- For San Diego, the minimum wage is $16.30 per hour;
- For San Jose, the minimum wage is $17.00 per hour;
- For San Mateo – Generally, the minimum wage is $16.75 per hour;
- For San Mateo - Non – Profit, the minimum wage is $16.75 per hour;
- For Santa Clara, the minimum wage is $17.20 per hour; and
- For Sunnyvale, the minimum wage is $ 17.95 per hour.
