Minimum Wage Increased in Dominican Republic from 01 April 2023 - November 13, 2023

Minimum wages have been revised in Dominican Republic with effect from 01 April 2023. The new minimum wages are as follows:

  • A large enterprise with 151 or more workers OR an enterprise whose annual sales exceed 202 million pesos, from DOP21,000.00 to DOP24,150.00 per month;
  • A medium enterprise with 51-150 workers OR an enterprise whose annual sales lie between 54 million pesos and 202 million pesos, from DOP19,250.00 to DOP22,138.00 per month;
  • A small enterprise with 11-50 workers OR an enterprise whose annual sales lie between 8 million pesos and 54 million pesos, from DOP12,900.00 to DOP14,835.00 per month; and
  • A micro enterprise with 10 or less workers OR an enterprise whose annual sales are up to 8 million pesos, from DOP11,900.00 to DOP13,685.00.
