LIVING WAGES TERMS OF USE
Please find below the Living Wages Terms of Use by the WageIndicator Foundation.
These terms of use apply to any access to and use of our Living Wages data, as well as to any other information, data and services we provide, unless we explicitly indicate otherwise.
HOW DO YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS OF USE?
All users (which includes both paying clients and free users) agree to these terms of use by:
- a) accessing and/or using the Living Wage sections of our website; or
b) otherwise accepting these terms and conditions.
If you are a paying client, please note that these terms of use apply in addition to the terms and conditions specified in our purchase contract. In case there is a contradiction between these terms and the contract, the contract prevails.
ACCESS TO WageIndicator LIVING WAGE DATA
We offer two types of Living Wage data:
- purchased data, to paying clients;
- limited, published data, to free users.
Purchased data
Clients can receive access to our purchased data (including the additional services and information that come with their purchase, as indicated on our sales page) after a contractual agreement with us is signed, or one-off data is bought through the Salesportal.
Clients may only use our purchased data for internal use. This means that sharing WageIndicator's living wages estimates beyond a companies’ internal operations or as agreed in the contract. In case a client wants to share living wage estimates with more than five persons prior consent of WageIndicator is needed, check our sales page.
Published data
As we believe it is important to improve labour market transparency, we offer free, limited access to our published data through our website.
Users may only use our published data for private, internal, non-commercial use.
NON-DISCLOSURE OF DATA
All Living Wage rates, as well as the full methodology package underlying WageIndicator's Living Wage calculations and any other data and information that WageIndicator puts at the disposal of the user or client, are considered confidential information. Each user and client is required to treat them confidentially.
Said data and information may not be shared with or disclosed to / sold to third parties.
Copying, web scraping (or using any similar techniques), publishing and/or transmitting any part of our data, datasets, information and websites is not permitted. The same applies to any other way of making our data, datasets, information and websites available to a third party.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Please note that all intellectual property rights regarding WageIndicator’s the Living Wage estimates, WageIndicator’s websites, as well as any other data, information and services we provide are owned by the WageIndicator Foundation.
Should any infringement on its intellectual property rights by a client or user occur, WageIndicator reserves the right to cancel the agreement or contract with the client or user immediately and take further (legal) steps if deemed necessary.
RESPONSIBILITY OF CLIENTS OR USERS
WageIndicator does not take any responsibility for inadequate use of its Living Wage benchmark and/or data by its clients or users.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Living Wage data, as well as any information, data and services we provide, are provides ‘as is’. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, WageIndicator cannot be held liable for any damage suffered by the client.
VISIBILITY AND PUBLIC RELATIONS
Clients are encouraged to mention that they use WageIndicator living wage data in publications, dashboard and annual reports. The use of the logo of WageIndicator is encouraged and can be used upon request. Should you have any questions on this, please get in touch with our team.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS OF USE
We have the right to change these Terms of Use at any time. The new terms of use will enter into force upon publishing them on our website.
These Terms of Use are governed by Dutch law.

- Living Wage Only, covers all countries and regions from the most recent quarter. The fee in 2024 amounts to Eur 14,250 (ex VAT) per year for 4 quarterly releases.
