Switzerland - Real wages up 1.2% - October 31, 2025

The Swiss Federal Statistical Office (FSO) released figures showing that in 2025 the social partners signatory to the main collective agreements agreed nominal increases in real wages of an average 1.2%, and average minimum wage rises of 1.0%. The breakdown shows an increase of 0.4% at the individual level and 0.9% at the collective level. These modest wage increases come amid rising cost pressures and signal the constrained space for wage growth.
