The trace union Kommunal has reached an agreement with Almega Healthcare Employers on new rules regarding daily rest in the collective agreements that apply to care, treatment activities, elderly care and personal assistance in private management. The regulations will enter into force on 1 September 2025. The new agreement establishes which exceptions the employer is entitled to make from the employee's right to at least 11 hours of daily rest according to the Working Hours Act and how the compensatory rest should then be allocated.
