The labour minister announced that the minimum wage will be increased by € 50 a month, marking an increase of 4.4%. This decision, taken after consultation with the social partners, was approved by the trade unions but not by the employers' organisations. The minimum wage will rise from the current € 1,134 to € 1,184 gross per month and will be disbursed in 14 instalments.
