March´s wages nominally rose year-on-year in all 10 sectors monitored monthly, and after adjusting for inflation, real growth was recorded in 6 of them, according to the Statistical Office. The growth rate ranged from 1.9% in wholesale to 7.1% in accommodation and was lower in most sectors than in the previous month. Real wages (wages adjusted for inflation) increased year-on-year in 6 out of the 10 sectors monitored monthly. The most dynamic real growth by 3% was recorded in accommodation and 2.2% in retail. A decrease in real wages was recorded in 4 sectors – sale and repair of vehicles, industry, selected market services, and wholesale, all in the range of 1% to 2%.
