Serbia - Minimum wage to increase to € 500 - June 30, 2025

The Government plans to increase the minimum monthly net wage by 9.4% to € 500 in October, and by a further 10.1% in January 2026, the finance minister said. Following the 13.7% hike in January this year, the minimum wage now amounts to € 457. The minister noted that currently about 91,000 people are paid a minimum wage, compared to 600,000 12 or 13 years ago. By the end of 2027, the minimum net wage and average state pension will amount to € 650, while the average net pay will reach € 1,400.
