According to the statistics office, the average net monthly wage rose by a real 5.3% on the year to 103,519 dinars (€ 883) in February, after rising by an annual 7.2% in the month before. On a monthly basis, the average net wage fell by 4.2% in real terms in February, after declining by 1.4% in January. In February, the average monthly net wage in the public sector was 108,210 dinars (€ 923), while in the non-public sector it was 101,669 dinars (€ 867). In 2024, the average net monthly wage increased by a real 9.1% and by 14.1% in nominal terms.
