Serbia - Airline wants to end strike - August 31, 2025

Low-cost airline company Ryanair announced that in the first two days of the strike by the Serbian Air Traffic Control Union (SKL), it had been forced to cancel 99 flights, affecting 17,800 passengers. For this reason, the airline requested intervention from institutions in Brussels. The strike by the Air Traffic Control Union (SKL) began on 20 August, and will last a total of 40 days, until 30 September. The main demand of SKL, as stated, concerns the urgent and significant increase of wages for certain categories of employees.
