Romania - Majority of workers expect pay rise in 2025 - February 28, 2025

55% of employees who participated in the latest eJobs Ria survey say they expect a salary increase this year at their current job. This aligns with the findings of a survey conducted at the end of last year on professional plans for 2025, where most respondents indicated that a higher salary was one of their main goals for the upcoming year. Meanwhile, 28% do not believe they will receive a raise in 2025, and 17% are unsure about their employer’s plans in this regard. These expectations arise in a context where only 23% of employees are satisfied or very satisfied with their current salary, while 38% are dissatisfied or very dissatisfied.
