Portugal - Increase of minimum wage - January 31, 2025

By agreement between the Government, business confederations and the union UGT, the minimum wage rose, at the beginning of 2025, from € 820 to € 870, an increase of 6.1%. Even so the guaranteed minimum wage in the country continues to fail to improve in comparison with other countries in the EU.
