The minority Government introduced a major labour law reform on 11 September, aiming to increase flexibility in working hours, expand outsourcing, and make dismissals easier for SMEs. Unions sharply criticised the proposals as an 'attack on workers’ rights' and have not ruled out a general strike if the Government pushes the bill through parliament.
