The average gross monthly salary in the corporate sector rose to PLN 9,045.11 in April 2025—up 9.3% year-on-year—exceeding forecasts and remaining above € 2,000 (€ 2,119.28). This reversed a four-month slowdown and followed March’s lowest growth in four years. Despite a slight 0.12% monthly dip, real wage growth reached 4.79% thanks to easing inflation (4.3%). Salaries in large companies have consistently surpassed € 2,000 since February, a threshold first crossed in December 2024. However, the average wage measure excludes sectors like public administration, healthcare, and small businesses—representing just under 40% of workers.
