In March 2025, the average gross salary reached 9,055.92 PLN, marking a 7.7% year-on-year increase, slightly lower than February’s 7.9%, according to Statistics Poland (GUS). Monthly, wages rose by 5.1%, driven by bonus payouts, overtime, and retirement severance. Analysts note that the slowing wage growth, combined with low inflation and stable energy prices, strengthens the case for an interest rate cut in May by the Monetary Policy Council.
