Poland - New law on collective bargaining - September 30, 2025

Parliament (Sejm) held the first reading of a Government bill on collective bargaining and collective agreements. The new regulations are intended to streamline the process of concluding, registering, and applying collective agreements, which will be achieved by enabling electronic submission of agreements to the National Register of Collective Agreements. The register will also record collective agreements concluded by at least two employers. The bill was referred to the Social Policy Committee for further work, raising expectations among trade unions for stronger collective rights.
