Poland - Government proposes modest minimum wage hike - September 30, 2025

The Government has proposed a 3% increase in the national minimum wage from January 2026, raising it to PLN 4,806 (€ 1,128) gross per month (approximately PLN 31.40 (€ 7.38) per hour). Trade unions strongly criticised this as too small in light of rising living costs, while employer associations called it a 'balanced compromise'. The proposal must still pass through the Social Dialogue Council (RDS), which includes business, unions and government.
