Norway - New general collective agreement - March 31, 2025

Union confederation LO and employers’ organisation NHO agree on this year's wage settlement and thus avoid a strike. The parties have agreed on a result that provides 5 kroner (€ 0.42) in general addition to everyone. In addition, there will be a low wage supplement of 2 kroner (€ 0.17) and an additional 2 kroner (€ 0.17) to five further collective agreements. There will be a low-wage supplement of 2 kroner (€ 0.17) for everyone who works in companies with collective agreements where employees earn on average less than 90% of the average industrial worker's wage. In addition, low-wage workers who do not have local bargaining rights will receive an additional low-wage supplement of 2 kroner (€ 0.17. This applies to five collective agreements. Additional bargaining will take place at the company level.
