A new collective agreement has been signed between Festivals Malta and the Union Ħaddiema Magħqudin (UĦM), through which a number of employees will benefit from increased wages and the introduction of new allowances. The Minister for Culture, Lands, and Local Government explained that the new agreement will lead to salary increases and additional allowances for employees, with the overall aim of enhancing their compensation and benefits packages. He stressed that the objective of the agreement is not solely financial, but also to provide clear guidance on working conditions, serving as a model for future employees.
