National airline Luxair has signed a new collective agreement with trade unions, introducing a range of benefits for its staff. The agreement was reached with the Luxembourg Confederation of Christian Trade Unions (LCGB) and the Independent Luxembourg Trade Union Confederation (OGBL), following failed negotiations earlier this year. The agreement includes several key improvements for employees. Pay scales for pilots, ground staff, and cabin crew have been adjusted, with a salary progression scale reintroduced from 1 January 2025. Employees will receive a salary increase in the form of a "special crisis exit allowance" of €50.00 gross, subject to wage indexation. This allowance will be paid 13 times a year, starting 1 October 2025, with pilots excluded from this provision.
