The country continues to lead the bloc with the highest national minimum wage, standing at € 2,704 per month as of 1 July, according to the latest Eurostat data. Even when adjusted for cost of living using Purchasing Power Standards (PPS), the country remains at the top with a value of PPS 2,035. The gap with the runner-up reduces significantly when adjusting wages for cost of living.
