Lithuania - Gross wages up 8.7% - August 31, 2025

The average monthly gross wages grew 8.7% in the second quarter compared with a year earlier, reaching € 2,387, the State Data Agency said. Compared with the first quarter, gross pay rose by 2.1%. Public-sector wages averaged € 2,533. up by 4.5% from the previous quarter, while private-sector pay stood at € 2,325, a 1.1% increase. Year-on-year growth was 8.7% and 8.6%, respectively. After taxes, the average monthly net wage was € 1,461. euros, up 1.7% from the first quarter and 8% from a year earlier.
