On 16 September, regional bus operators held a one‑hour strike to protest chronic underfunding. Nine out of 11 bus companies joined, demanding compensation for revenue losses incurred between July 2022 and August 2025. The action affected thousands of passengers and highlighted financial strain in the public transport sector.
