The teachers’ wage dispute has been resolved with the signing of a four-year agreement that includes a 24.5% salary increase. All strikes have been called off as a result. The teachers’ wage dispute with the Government and municipalities was concluded with the signing of collective agreements at the Office of the State Mediator. The dispute had lasted for approximately five months. The new agreement is valid for four years. A previously proposed internal settlement was ultimately approved, but with modifications. The agreement also includes pre-emptive clauses requested by teachers, which serve as safeguards in the agreement, addressing issues such as inflation and interest rates.
