Iceland - Preparations for school strike - January 31, 2025

The union of secondary school teachers (FF) agreed to start preparations for indefinite strikes in a “certain number” of secondary schools next month. A vote will be held when the peace obligation ends at the end of the month, assuming that no wage agreements have been reached by then. This is stated in a statement by the Icelandic Teachers’ Union after a meeting of union representatives.
