Wage negotiations at Lear Corporation Hungary Kft., one of Audi's key suppliers in Győr, have been successfully concluded, resulting in the suspension of preparations for the planned strike. The president of the Lear Workers' Union said that the negotiations had taken a significant turn in recent days and a compromise had been reached between the parties. Under the agreement, the workers will receive a one-off payment of 175.000 forints (€ 434), and the union agreed to lift the strike suspension. In addition, the workers will receive a 2.5% increase in real wages above inflation, which will ensure an improvement in their financial situation. The Lear Workers’ Union had announced a collective labour dispute after the failure to reach an agreement on union demands related to 2025 wage increases at the company’s Győr site.
