Germany - New collective agreement in the electrical trade - August 31, 2025

IG Metall union in Baden-Württemberg and the Electrical and Information Technology Association have agreed on a collective agreement for the approximately 60,000 employees in the electrical trade. Wages and salaries will increase in two stages – by 3% starting 1 August 2025, and by a further 2.3% starting 1 March 2026. Training allowances will also be significantly increased: in all training years from 1 August 2025 by € 50 and from 1 March 2026 by a further € 40. The new agreement will apply until at least 30 April 2027.
