The collective bargaining negotiations for the bus companies Busverkehr Ostwestfalen GmbH (BVO), Nahverkehr Ostwestfalen GmbH (NVO), Busverkehr Rheinland GmbH (BVR), and Westfalen Bus GmbH (WB) were successful. In the second round of negotiations on 10 and 11 March, the union ver.di achieved significant improvements for employees. Key components of the collective agreements are a one-off payment of € 1,320 in two instalments (May and September 2025) and wage increases in several stages: a € 120 increase from October 2025, and a further € 110 increase from October 2026 for BVO and WB, a € 150 increase from October 2025, € 120 increase from October 2026 for NVO and a € 120 increase from October 2025 and € 130 increase from October 2026 (plus additional increases in certain pay groups) for BVR. The respective collective bargaining committees have approved the agreements.
