Germany - New agreement reached for technical inspection company - August 31, 2025

After intensive negotiations, the ver.di union and Technische Überwachungsverein (Technical Inspection Association) TÜV SÜD AG, the largest TÜV group in the country, have reached a collective agreement. The agreement was reached in the third round of negotiations at the beginning of August and includes both wage increases and one-off payments. The following regulations apply to the more than 10,000 employees and trainees. A wage increase of 2.5% effective 1 October 2025. A further wage increase of 2.8% effective 1 January 2027. A lump-sum payment of € 400 by 30 September 2025, for employees in the lower pay brackets €450. Trainees will receive a lump sum of € 200. ver.di members will also receive an annual special payment of € 350 starting in 2025. The collective agreement is valid for 30 months until 31 December 2027.
