A result was reached in the collective bargaining round for the Technical Building Equipment Sector in Lower Saxony. IG Metall Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt and the Industrial Association for Technical Building Equipment in Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Bremen agreed on a two-stage pay increase for 10,000 employees in the sector. The collective agreement at a glance: wages and salaries will increase by 2.6% as of 1 May 2025. A further increase of 3% will apply as of 1 May 2026. Training allowances will also increase significantly – staggered according to years of training. The collective agreement has a term of 24 months – from 1 May 2025, to 30 April 2027.
