Union IG Metall in Bavaria and the German Energy and Building Services Association have reached a new collective agreement with noticeable improvements for employees and trainees. Employees in the electrical trade in Bavaria can look forward to higher incomes. From 2025, wages and training allowances will increase in two stages. From 1 January 2025, incomes will increase by 2.5% for all pay groups. From 1 January 2026, there will be a further increase of 2.9%. Training allowances will increase by € 50 in all years of training on 1 September 2025. From 1 September 2026, there will be a further increase of € 50. The collective agreement is valid until 31 December 2026.
