Finland - New agreement for hospitality sector - April 30, 2025

The Hospitality Association (MaRa) and Service Union United PAM have agreed to a new collective agreement for workers in the travel, restaurant and leisure industries. The new contract went into effect on 1 April and will be valid for three years, until 31 March 2028. There is an option to terminate the agreement in its final year. The new agreement means that salaries of employees and supervisors in the sector will rise by 7.8% during the duration of the agreement. In practice, this means sector wages will rise by 2.5% in 2025, by 2.9% in 2026 and by 2.4% in 2027.
