The two main organisations consulted, the European Trade Union Confederation and the employers’ organisation BusinessEurope, have opposing views on the issue. The Quality Jobs Roadmap is a flagship initiative of the Commission that aims to promote quality jobs in the EU, as a key factor that enables and supports competitiveness, fosters social fairness and contributes to just transitions. Social partners will play a central role in its development to ensure that it benefits European businesses and workers across the EU.
