The European Parliament approved by a large majority the so-called 'stop-the-clock' text postponing the entry into force of the corporate sustainability reporting and due diligence directives (CSRD and CSDDD). Approved in the same terms by the Council of the EU, the first part of the omnibus package on sustainability will be able to enter into force quickly. It heralds a broader easing of companies' obligations in terms of non-financial reporting and due diligence.
