EU Sources - New global framework agreement for electricity company - January 31, 2025

IndustriALL Global Union, together with Public Services International (PSI) and electricity company Electricité de France (EDF Group), have successfully renegotiated and renewed the Global Framework Agreement (GFA) on Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility for the period 2025-2030. The GFA reinforces commitments to workers’ rights, social responsibility, and sustainability across EDF’s global operations. The agreement, originally signed in 2005 and renewed in 2018, has been updated to reflect new challenges and priorities, particularly in the areas of digital transformation, environmental sustainability, and workplace rights. The negotiations, which took place throughout 2024, resulted in significant advancements for EDF’s workforce worldwide.
