A month before the presentation of the omnibus directive that will reduce companies' obligations in terms of corporate sustainability reporting and due diligence, the European Commission presented its ‘Competitiveness Compass’. In addition to boosting innovation, decarbonisation and reducing regulatory burdens, the Commission is betting on promoting workers' skills through a Union of Skills.
