According to HK Kommunal union, billions in savings threaten the crucial business effort that gets vulnerable unemployed people into jobs and secures labour for businesses. The upcoming reform in the employment area may affect companies – and the unemployed who are helped into work. This is stated in a press release from HK Kommunal about the bill for a new employment policy, to which the trade union has just submitted its consultation response. The municipalities' close cooperation with businesses is fundamental for both a flexible and inclusive labour market, according to the union. If you cut back on business consultants, mentors and other key functions, you are also cutting the very foundation for vulnerable unemployed people to get jobs.
