The private-practice physiotherapists at BeneFiT Nord in North Jutland marked nearly six months of strike action over the absence of a collective agreement. Twelve physiotherapists based in Sæby and Frederikshavn have been demanding the employer to sign a collective agreement securing higher wages, pension rights and more days off. It is now one of the longest-running collective bargaining strikes in the country. Unions believe a breakthrough could set a precedent for the entire private physiotherapy sector.
