A new agreement was announced making it easier for companies to hire workers from selected non‑EU countries — provided those workers are paid under a collective agreement. From 1 January 2026, public tenders will require compliance, and union access to workplaces and pay data will be strengthened. The move is praised by social partners as reinforcing the 'Danish model' and curbing social dumping.
